Personal mentors are assigned to candidates to boost self-confidence, encourage professional behaviour, mitigate negative attitudes and give constructive feedback.
Why:
Enthusiastic youngsters are often zestful about their aspirations but feel the need of a guide who can solve their individual problems and provide the desired motivation. Also, some students are more reserved than others and need the coaxing of a trusted, friendly mentor to discuss their problems.
How:
Career Sketch candidates have one-to-one session with their assigned mentors, who comprise of people from diverse backgrounds to cover the range of professional education. The mentors are driven by student aspirations and act as a friend, philosopher and guide to achieve mutual goals.
