b. Group Discussion (GD) Coaching
GDs are a regular feature in most campus recruitment processes. Most of all, GDs test how candidates function as part of a team. Most students neither have training in team interaction nor know what traits recruiters are looking for through a GD, which is when Career Sketch coaching comes to the rescue.
Candidates are coached in GD skills to help them strike a balance between teamwork & leadership. The coaching aims at sharpening various soft skills like communication & listening skills, reasoning ability, assertiveness, flexibility, creativity, etc.
Career Sketch provides varied resources such as moderators, mentors and technological support to develop the required skills. It offers practice with diverse groups to simulate real life situations. Each candidate gets an opportunity to participate in 5 GDs. Candidates who need additional help are asked to participate in 2 extra sets of GDs. Peer and expert evaluation provides candidates with a positive and analytical feedback.
